Dimitris Dolapsakis is a MSc Student at the Physics Department at University of Crete. He received his BSc degree in Physics from the University of Crete. As an undergraduate student, he joined the Quantum Physics & Quantum Biology Laboratory for his thesis on electrophysiology of single rod cells. His is now working in novel Bragg grating devices in microstructured optical fibers.
George Karchilakis is currently a master student in the Department of Materials Science and Technology of the University of Crete and a member of the Hybrid Nanostructures Group of the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser, Foundation for Research and Technology.

He received his Bachelor’s Degree from the Department of Nursing, School of Health Sciences, National Kapodistrian University of Athens in 2016.
