Eleni Mantsiou received a diploma in Physics at the University of Crete in Greece. She is currently a master's student at the Department of Chemistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her research activities focus on the synthesis and characterization of material properties and ink development for printing thin films for energy-efficient technologies. In particular for energy-saving applications (thermochromic coatings), toxic gas detection, and energy storage devices (supercapacitors).
Eleni Grantzioti is a Research Assistant at the Photonic Materials and Devices Laboratory (PMDL). She received her B.Sc. degree in Physics from the University of Crete, Greece in 2023. As an undergraduate student, she joined the PMDL for her bachelor's research project on the development and study of optical fiber sensors. After her studies, she completed her internship at the Department of Applied Physics and Photonics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium.
Melanthia Kafantari is currently a Master of Science candidate in Biomedical Engineering at the Laboratory of Biomaterials for Tissue Engineering at the Department of Materials Science and Technology of the University of Crete and a member of the Hybrid Nanostructures Group of the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser, Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas.
She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2015.
