The group researches the synthesis of photostructurable materials and their application in the fabrication of nano-architected materials using NonLinear Lithography. We are investigating applications of nonlinear lithography in photonics, metamaterials medical implants, and scaffolds for cell growth and tissue engineering.
The main activity of the group is Nonlinear Lithography: it covers the synthesis of materials, structure/device fabrication and characterization. The group activities are broadly divided into two categories
(i) Photonics and Metamaterials
In Photonics and Metamaterials, we are researching the synthesis of (active) photostructurable materials, and the construction of devices operating at visible and THz wavelengths
(ii) Biomedical applications
In Biomedical applications, we are researching biomaterials for the fabrication of biomedical implants (such as microfluidic devices) and 3D scaffolds for tissue growth investigations
