Ms. Zografaki Maria
Ph.D. student

Maria Zografaki is a PhD candidate at the Department of Chemistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Physics in 2020 and her Master’s degree in “Materials Science and Technology” from the University of Crete, in 2023. In 2019, she joined the Transparent Conductive Materials and Devices group of IESL-FORTH, where she completed her bachelor's and master’s thesis on photocatalysis, under the supervision of Prof. Vassilios Binas. Her current research activities focus on the development and physicochemical characterization of nanostructured materials, as well as on the study of the photocatalytic activity of these materials for pollutant degradation and hydrogen production. She has 13 participations in national and international conferences.
