Job Description

The Post-Doc researcher will mainly take over the cleanroom micro/nano-fabrication tasks related to the development of the RF devices for needs of the project

Related Project

Required Qualifications

• BSc in physical sciences or engineering 
• PhD related to nanotechnology/fabrication/electronics 
• Experience with cleanroom fabrication techniques and methods
• Experience in thin film deposition systems 
• Experience with characterization techniques 

Desirable Qualifications

• Ability to organize presentations and to present the related work in the project meetings or at conferences 
• Ability to contribute to the project reports and deliverables 
• Experience with simulation software 
• Experience with junior colleagues or students supervision

Job Description

The successful candidate will contribute to the realization of an experimental apparatus capable of the detection and manipulation of late atom numbers below the shot-noise level.

Required Qualifications

• PhD in physics or related domains 
•  Experience in experimental research involving optics

• Good knowledge of (experimental) quantum mechanics or related

The postdoctoral researcher will work in the framework of WorkPackage 2 in defining the specifications of the materials that will be utilized in the WISE solution and the development of biocompatible nanocoating surfaces and in the framework of WorkPackage 3 with the Knowledge Base design and implementation by assisting in process and product ontologies. 

Required Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Sciences or Engineering (physics, chemistry, materials science, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering)

• PhD related with Polymer Science   
• Previous working experience in the investigation of polymer properties and knowledge of relevant characterization methods and techniques.
