I am a Semiconductor Research Engineer with more than 10 years of experience in R&D projects related with static and dynamic measurements, characterization and device modeling of various commercial and research oriented CMOS and wide bandgap processes. Deep understanding of semiconductor devices’ operation and performance issues.
- Extensive hands-on experience setting-up and performing on-wafer DC,CV and RF measurements.
- Design oriented characterization and modeling of CMOS technology node’s statistical behavior.
- Utilizing high level languages for modeling and characterization purposes (ex. Java application for modeling and characterization (MOSGUI project), measurement and data acquisition lab setups using PyVISA).
- Extensive experience in commercial and open-source simulators (ex. NGSPICE, Cadence Spectre) and EDA tools (ex. KeySight ICCAP).
- Verilog-A Charge based Compact Model development ( EKV3, CJM ), customization and integration in analog simulators.
- Authored or co-authored 11 journal and 26 conference papers.
Starting 2016, I am with Microelectronics Research Group (MRG)/ Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL)/ Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH) working on development, modeling and characterization of SiC JFETs and GaN HEMTs.

Efthymis Serpetzoglou is a PhD Candidate of “Ultrafast Laser Micro and Nano Processing” Group in “Institute of Electronic Structure & Laser” on “Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH)”. He obtained his 5 years Diploma in Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences from National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) in 2012 and his M.Sc. in Micro-systems and Nano-devices in Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences from NTUA (Athens) in 2014. He has experience in Laser Laboratory, as well as fabrication and characterization of Organic Photovoltaics (OPVs) and Biosensors. His current research interests involve Spectroscopy Techniques, such as Transient Absorption, Photo-induced Absorption and Laser Induced Fluorescence, in OPVs and Perovskite Solar Cells (PSCs).

Dr. Abdus Salam Sarkar is a Post Doctoral Research fellow in the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL), Foundation for Research and Technology Hellas (FORTH). He received his B.Sc degree in Physics (Honors) from University of Calcutta, Kolkata, India. He obtained his M.Sc in Physics from Department of Physics and Astrophysics, University of Delhi, Delhi, India. He received his Ph.D degree in Emerging two dimensional (2D) materials and their van der Waals heterostructures for electronic applications from School of Basic Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology Mandi, India. He joined in Ultrafast Laser Micro- and Nano- Processing Laboratory of IESL in September 2018 as a member of the 2D materials research. His research focus on the preparation/synthesis of structural anisotropic 2D Group IVA-VI transitional metal monchalcogenides and other emerging novel 2D materials using exfoliation and laser-based techniques for fundamental sciences (Valley polarization and Polarized Second Harmonic Generation) and electronic device applications (Solar cells, FET and sensors).
