Position Description

The Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser of the Foundation for and Technology Hellas (IESL - FORTH), in the framework of the project “AIMS5.0 - Artificial Intelligence in Manufacturing leading to Sustainability and Industry5.0”, (Call: HORIZON- KDT-JU-Chips-JU-2022-1-IA, GA 101112089) Funded under HORIZON-JU-IA - HORIZON JU Innovation Actions (HORIZON.2.4 - Digital, Industry and Space & HORIZON.2.4.2 - Key Digital Technologies Programs), is seeking to recruit one post-doctoral researcher.

 

Job Description

The Post-Doc researcher will mainly take over the cleanroom micro/nano-fabrication tasks related to the development of the RF devices for needs of the project

Required Qualifications

  • BSc in physical sciences or engineering 
  • PhD related to nanotechnology/fabrication/electronics 
  • Experience with cleanroom fabrication techniques and methods
  • Experience in thin film deposition systems 
  • Experience with characterization techniques 

Desirable Qualifications

  • Ability to organize presentations and to present the related work in the project meetings or at conferences 
  • Ability to contribute to the project reports and deliverables 
  • Experience with simulation software 
  • Experience with junior colleagues or students supervision
