Eleni Mantsiou received a diploma in Physics at the University of Crete in Greece. She is currently a master's student at the Department of Chemistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her research activities focus on the synthesis and characterization of material properties and ink development for printing thin films for energy-efficient technologies. In particular for energy-saving applications (thermochromic coatings), toxic gas detection, and energy storage devices (supercapacitors).
Dr. Evangelia Skliri is currently a postdoctoral researcher in Transparent and Conductive Materials and Devices Laboratory in IESL/FORTH. (IESL) of the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH). She graduated from the Department of Materials Science and Technology in 2011 from the University of Crete, Greece. She received her Master in 2014 and her Ph.D. in 2020 from the Department of Materials Science and Technology of Crete, Greece. Her research activities focus on the synthesis and characterization of advanced photocatalysts for energy and environmental applications such as photocatalytic hydrogen (H2) production and treatment wastewater. Her published work includes 11 peer-reviewed articles (Citations: 346, h-index: 9 and 10 participations in national and international conferences.)
Eleni Grantzioti is a Research Assistant at the Photonic Materials and Devices Laboratory (PMDL). She received her B.Sc. degree in Physics from the University of Crete, Greece in 2023. As an undergraduate student, she joined the PMDL for her bachelor's research project on the development and study of optical fiber sensors. After her studies, she completed her internship at the Department of Applied Physics and Photonics at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium.
