    Position Description
Development of an optical spatial ΧΥ spin simulator utilising coherent free-space light illumination and intensity detection for the minimization of Ising Hamiltonians via simulated annealing. Implementation of custom-tailored algorithms to optimise the annealing process employed by the software part of the spatial photonic Ising machine.

- Degree in Physics
 - Laboratory experience in optical setups with spatial light modulator
 - Experience in simulations of condensed matter systems with emphasis in computational modelling of spin systems
 - Two (2) reference letters
 
Desirable Qualifications
Fluency in English
