Modelling hierarchy for entangled polymers

Polymer rheology and viscoelasticity is fascinating and complicated at the same time.
Physicists believe that the main factor determining long time behaviour of polymer
fluids are entanglements, but so far they fail to define what entanglements really mean.
In this talk I'll review our recent progress in defining entanglements in molecular
dynamics simulations, and then explore the connections between molecular dynamics and slip-spring model.
