Great distinction for Dr. Giannis Zacharakis, Principal Researcher at the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser of FORTH, who took over responsibilities as President of the European Society for Molecular Imaging (ESMI).
Dimitris Vlassopoulos Professor of the Department of Materials Science and Technology of the University of Crete and Affiliated Faculty Members of the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL) of the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH), has been elected to receive the Bingham Medal of the Society of Rheology of the USA for 2019.
Prof. Xenophon Zotos, a collaborating Faculty member of our Institute has been selected for outstanding contribution to assessing manuscripts in the APS journals.
