Position Description

The Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser of the Foundation for and Technology Hellas (IESL - FORTH), in the framework of the project “Advanced Packaging and Heterogeneous Integration for Electronic Components and Systems Pilot Line”, (Call: HORIZON-JU-Chips-2023-RIA-CPL, GA 101183307) Funded under HORIZON-JU-RIA - HORIZON JU Research and Innovation Actions, is seeking to recruit one post-doctoral researcher.

 

Job Description

 

The post-doctoral researcher will be involved in GaN HEMT DC and RF characterization and modelling, PDK development and RF circuit measurement as well as in 3D SiP development and characterization.

Required Qualifications

• PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering 
• Experience ( >5y ) using and configuring laboratory equipment to perform DC, RF and dynamic measurements on semiconductor devices and circuits, including automating these measurements with custom setups utilizing programming languages (ex. Python). 
• Experience ( >5y ) in extracting parameters for semiconductor device compact models in commercial simulators, such as Cadence Spectre, for use in Process Design Kits (PDK) for industrial and research applications. 
• Prior experience in R&D programs regarding device/circuit modelling and PDK development 
• Experience in data analysis and modelling tool development
