Position Description

The Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser of the Foundation for and Technology Hellas (IESL - FORTH), in the framework of the project “Advanced Packaging and Heterogeneous Integration for Electronic Components and Systems Pilot Line”, (Call: HORIZON-JU-Chips-2023-RIA-CPL, GA 101183307) Funded under HORIZON-JU-RIA - HORIZON JU Research and Innovation Actions, is seeking to recruit one PhD candidate .

 

Job Description

 

Τhe PhD candidate will be involved in the DC, AC distortion and RF characterization of RF HEMTs as well as in the data analysis, measurement setup and device modelling.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor in Physics 
• M.Sc. in Electrical and Computer Engineering 
• PhD candidate in a School/ Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering with subject related to microelectronics and nanotechnologies 
• Experience using and configuring laboratory equipment to perform DC, dynamic, and flicker noise measurements on semiconductor devices, including automating these measurements with programming languages such as PEL. 
• Experience using tools for semiconductor device measurement and characterization, preferably Keysight IC-CAP. 
• Experience extracting parameters for semiconductor device compact models in commercial simulators, such as Cadence Spectre, for use in design kits for industrial and research applications.
