Position Description
The Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser of the Foundation for research and Technology Hellas (IESL -FORTH), in the framework of the project HEISINGBERG, (P.I.: Prof. P. Savvidis, Call: HORIZON-EIC-2022-PATHFINDERCHALLENGES-01, GA 101114978), funded under HORIZON-EIC - HORIZON EIC Grants, is seeking to recruit one (1) research assistant position.
Job Description
Development of a spatial photonic Ising machine (SPIM) by coherent SLM light illumination, free-space propagation and intensity detection. -Implementation of phase and intensity retrieval methods and subsequent correction of wavefront for SPIM calibration.

- MsC in Physics
- Experience in spin noise spectroscopy
- At least eight peer-reviewed publications
- Fluency in English
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in experimental automation
- Programming in Python
- Experience with LabView
