Position Description
The Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser of the Foundation for research and Technology Hellas (IESL-FORTH), in the framework of the project «Quantum Memory Prototype For Space», QMem, is seeking to recruit one (1) research assistant position for supporting the Space Optics laboratory.
Job Description
The candidate will engage in fabrication of glass fibers and their metal coating using chemical and physical deposition methods. Characterization of the fibers will include advanced surface characterization methods.
Required Qualifications
- BSc in Chemics/ Physics/ Materials Science
Desirable Qualifications
- Good knowledge of experimental characterization methods and adequate laboratory experience
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Interview
