Position Description
Post-doc
Nonlinear Optics in photonic complex systems
Conducting research on the nonlinear properties of lattices of coupled waveguides and/or cavities with non-Hermitian disorder. Research experience in theoretical nonlinear dynamics, solitons, and stability theory is desired.
Research Assistant
Conducting management of the program.
Required Qualifications
Post-doc
- PhD in Physics or related field (photonics, nonlinear dynamics or similar)
- Relevant work experience
- Journal publications on the subjects relevant to the project
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
Research Assistant
- Bsc in Communication-Management and/or Social Science
- Msc in Management
- Experience in Human resources policies and procedures in a research environment
- Experience in project management of funded research programs
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
Desirable Qualifications
Post-doc
- Strong background in Nonlinear Optics, Nonlinear Dynamics and/or Non-Hermitian Physics
- Computational skills
- Experience in interacting with experimentalists
Research Assistant
- Experience in the immigration procedures for the entry and residence of researchers coming from non-EU countries
- Experience in organizing events and conferences
