The focus of the research effort is on studying the linear and nonlinear rheology of melts and solutions involving ring polymers. A combination of advanced rheometry and scattering will be used. Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following areas: rheology/rheometry, polymer physics, soft matter, and scattering. Required skills include strong background in quantitative analysis and communication skills.
