Funded Projects - Job opportunities

Currently the group is participating in and/or co-ordinating a number of E.U. funded projects. In these projects there are open visitor, post-doctoral and Ph. D. student positions providing the opportunity to early stage or experienced researchers to take part and contribute to s and receive training in the research activities of the group.

The funded projects are:

  Title: "Ultrashort XUV pulses for Time Resolved and Non -linear Applications" (XTRA)
  Budget: 255.000 EURO
• Marie Curie Transfer of Knowledge Grant Contr. Nr.
  Title: XUV-High Order Harmonic Metrology Tools for Novel Spectroscopic Applications (X-HOMES)
  Budget: ~400.000Euro
• Marie Curie "Joint Research Activities" Grant Contr. Nr.
  Title: Frontiers of Optical Science: Controlling Intense Light (FOSCIL)
  Budget: 170:000Euro

The group is further participating in the preparation of the following proposal to be submitted to the E.U.

2. TRIUMPH: FP7 Initial Training Network (ITN) proposal (submitted May 2nd, 2007 coordinated by AMOLF)
3. FEMTO: FP7 Initial Training Network (ITN) proposal (submitted May 2nd, 2007 coordinated Univ. of Burgundy)
4. ALADIN: FP7 Joint Research Action (JRA) proposal to the I3 LaserLab Europe (in preparation, cocoordinated by FORTH)
5. GAIIAP: FP7 IDEAS program, ERC Independent Starting Researcher Grant (submitted 25 April, 2007 coordinated by FORTH)
