is an integrating activity project carried out in the
Horizon 2020 – Work Programme 2014-2015 for European research infrastructures. The project supports access to most advanced EU
scientific instrumentations, including mobile facilities, and to expert knowledge and know-how, allowing scientists,
conservators-restorers and curators to enhance their research opportunities. IESL-FORTH is a member of IPERION-CH along with another
23 partners from 12 Member States plus one in the US together with a large network of affiliations. In the framework of IPERION-CH,
the Photonics for CH group at IESL
has been active
in developing of innovative instrumentation and methods for diagnostics and conservation,
but also in training
young scientists and conservators on the use
of such novel tools. Furthermore, within the MOLAB (MObile LABoratory) facility of IPERION-CH the Photonics for CH group at IESL
the Photonics for CH group at IESL enables European users to develop and pursue their research using
state-of-the-art mobile facilities for in situ non-invasive measurements on the basis of Digital Holographic Speckle Pattern Interferometry (DHSPI).
