Project Objectives
Development of an optical sensing system adapted on mobile telephone device for the in-situ measurement of human vital parameters (hemoglobim)
Requirements
· PhD from Physical of Engineering Sciences School
· Publications in scientific journals within the subjects of optics and chemistry, participations in international conferences
· Experimental experience in the subjects of optics, chemistry and materials science
· Participation in research projects in relevant thematic fields
· Qualification of high knowledge of English language
Location: Heraklion, Crete, Greece
Start Date: 01/11/2014
Contract Duration: 11 Months

Selection Procedure
Applications submitted by the above deadline and with all requested documentation will be reviewed by the scientific committee. The committee will select the candidate that best suits the position and project requirements based on academic criteria (see Appendix). If necessary the scientific committee will invite candidates for an interview on a mutually agreed date and time.
The evaluation results will be posted on the IESL-FORTH web site and, following a period for appeals (3 working days), the scientific committee will make the final selection.
