The Post-Doctoral researcher will carry out experimental research on the generation and implementation of intense trains and isolated asec pulses in three research directions: a) strong-XUV-field laser-matter interaction b) ultrafast electron wavepacket dynamics and c) time-domain Ramsey-type spectroscopy using broadband coherent XUV radiation. The research will be carried out in Attosecond Physics Laboratory in the Institute of Electronic Structure and Laser (IESL) of the Foundation for Research and Technology-Hellas (FORTH) and will be focused on High Field Physics, Ultra-fast dynamics and Time-Domain Ramsey-type Spectroscopy in the extreme-ultraviolet.
· Postgraduate Degree and PhD in a relevant field
· Experience in atomic and molecular physics
· Experience in generation of isolated asec pulses
· Experience in temporal characterization of asec pulses
· Experience in pump-probe experiments
· Excellent knowledge of English language (competency in speaking and writing)
· Scientific Publications
