The aim of this effort is to exploit the vast know-how of MNEO on compound semiconductor material growth and device fabrication technology, in order to develop novel micro and nanomachined components and circuits on III-arsenides and III-nitrides.

Our effort has been acknowledged by the scientific community, manifested through the 2002 Descartes runner up prize as well as the “Tudor Tanasescu” award from the Romanian Academy in 2003.
Under this section we will also report on the latest results obtained with the recently established nanofabrication facility of MNEO having as main objective the stimulation of R&D in the fields of nanoelectronics and nanophotonics.
