IS-TCO : Proceedings

The proceedings for the majority of the submitted papers will be published as a special issue of the journal THIN SOLID FILMS (Elsevier) with Guest Editors Prof. George Kiriakidis, Prof. Marie-Isabelle Baraton and Prof. Samuel Mao. The language of the proceedings will be English.

All authors are kindly instructed to follow the “Instructions to Authors” available at the Author’s Gateway of TSF: http://www.authors.elsevier.com/journal/tsf

The length for each contributing paper is limited to 4 printed pages.

Invited speakers and authors with longer contributions should refer to the TCO2006 Chairman for alternative journal submissions.

Deadline for the submission of a hard copy is October 23, 2006.

Authors are requested to submit three hard copies of their manuscript and the same text also in electronic form on a diskette. Conduct details of the corresponding author (e-mail, telephone and Fax numbers) should clearly be indicated with every manuscript.

All papers will be peer reviewed by two reviewers in accordance with the standards set by TSF journal. They should represent originality and include not previously published work. Papers are not automatically accepted because they are part of this Symposium.

Final submission procedures should be completed by December 10, 2006. No manuscripts will be accepted for publication past this deadline.

Authors should submit their final accepted papers to the Guest Editor / Chairman of the TCO2006 Symposium (Prof. G.Kiriakidis, IESL/FORTH, PO Box 1527, Heraklion 711 10, Crete, Greece) in illustration material ready for reproduction in print (original, sharp and contrasting photographs, original drawings or sharp glossy prints). Twenty-five offprints of each contribution will be mailed, free of charge, to first or corresponding author by the publishers. Additional reprints could be ordered in accordance with the standard prices of Thin Solid Films. Upon publication of the Proceedings the Publisher will distribute the copies to the registrants by surface airlifted mail, without extra charge.
