Nanowires 2011 (NW2011)
June 13th - June 19th, 2011

This is the fourth nanowire meeting following the successful nanowire meetings organized in 2008 and 2009 within the CECAM workshop programme, [ see NW2008 and NW2009 respectively] and that of last year that took place in Heraklion, Crete, Greece [see NW2010 ].

In response to the success of these meetings and the many encouraging suggestions to keep up the steam and the spirit of such meetings, we are organizing the fourth workshop, the Nanowires 2011 (NW2011), focused on nanowire growth, physics and device applications.

The workshop will be held at the cultural center of Plomarion, a small town of the Greek island of Lesvos in the North-East Aegean Sea [see About Plomari-Lesvos ], from 13-19 June 2011.

There will be a total of about 30-40 presentations, depending on the number of participants. It includes also poster sessions as well.

The workshop is open to all and the registration is free! There will be only a symbolic registration fee of 20 Euros that will help us to cover organization expenses and a part of the cofee breaks. However each participant has to take care of his/her own local accommodation and travel expenses.
